Part 1 - Why am I so competitive?
To be honest, I'm not always this competitive. It's just that when I was young, probably when I was a toddler, I was always behind the other kids. I'm always late in my development stages. For example an average kid learns to speak words and phrases when they are 1 years old; I can't even speak a word until I was 3! Or an average kid can crawl when they are 7 month old but I only started crawling when I was nearly 1 year old.
My parents, mostly my mom, were worried about me. What if she has a disorder of some sort? Will she always be like this? So my mom brought me to training camps every summer to practice my balance, and brought equipment to trigger my brain to let me speak (which I didn't like, but on the hand my brother liked it and used it more often than I did therefore making him learn to speak way earlier than me. And he was the younger one). And when I start speaking, I had pronunciation issues, so she enrolled me to a school for deaf kids to help me practice my pronunciation. Which leads to the 'me' now.
What I'm trying to say is that the reason why I'm competitive is that I just want to repay my mom for all the time and sweat she sacrificed for me. I don't want her to think that even after all her hard works, I'm still not as good as the other kids. I want to tell her that I am as good as the other kids and even better than them.
